Individual Therapy - Randall Warner Psychotherapy

Indvidiuals

Entering individual therapy for yourself is perhaps the most personal journey on which you can embark. Doing the work in therapy can help educate yourself on the subject of you. Therefore, by learning more about yourself can help provide more room for you to navigate and experience growth and change. You will be discussing your issues with a trained and experienced professional who is not judgmental and who genuinely wants to listen and understand what you are experiencing and how it affects you. Therapy provides a safe quiet place for you to explore your past, present and future, which can color and shape how you live today, and what you will do tomorrow.

Couples Therapy - Randall Warner Psychotherapy

Couples

On a lot of therapists websites you will see them mention “Communication” as being a big factor between couples. They’re not wrong. The avenues taken can be many. When couples come to therapy often they are experiencing some of the following: communication, financial, trust, family, blended family, inter-racial, inter-faith, respect and intimacy among others. The problem often is that couples do not address their difficulties and allow those difficulties to fester and grow into larger problems. These larger problems can be disruptive and block growth for the couple to see through their problems. In couples therapy, as the therapist, I place myself in a neutral position and mediate. The therapist has the opportunity to see each individual’s perspective and how the couple see themselves.
Family Therapy - Randall Warner Psychotherapy

Families

Family therapy is an opportunity for family members to discover perspectives other than their own. This opportunity can assist family members understand how they are interacting with one another and what they could do to make improvements with their communication, establish and maintain boundaries, obtain a deeper respect for each other and ultimately make gains towards healthier relationships. Perhaps there are impaired family relationships with various family members or just two members. We can work together, using the therapist as a mediator, identify the issues, work on the problems, and move towards healthier family relationships.
