Entering individual therapy for yourself is perhaps the most personal journey on which you can embark. Doing the work in therapy can help educate yourself on the subject of you. Therefore, by learning more about yourself can help provide more room for you to navigate and experience growth and change. You will be discussing your issues with a trained and experienced professional who is not judgmental and who genuinely wants to listen and understand what you are experiencing and how it affects you. Therapy provides a safe quiet place for you to explore your past, present and future, which can color and shape how you live today, and what you will do tomorrow.
